The guidelines for this are outlined below.
Primary authors who have two abstracts already accepted through the original Call for Abstracts submission process (whether poster or oral) are allowed to submit one late-breaking poster abstract. The abstract must be true "late breaker" abstract, meaning the information they want to present was not previously available for submission and it is new, innovative, and has significant findings.
Authors who have one abstract (whether poster or oral) accepted in the previous round of submissions are allowed to submit one late-breaking poster abstract.
Authors who had not submitted or had any abstract accepted in the previous round of submissions can submit one or two late-breaking poster abstracts.
Submission by a coordinator on behalf of an author is not allowed. Only an author or co-author should submit the abstract.
