• The applications for press accreditation to the 14th World Conference on Tobacco Or Health, 2009 is restricted to press working for newspapers, news services, magazines, broadcasting and online sites engaged in dissemination of news. Registration would be free for accredited media.

Who cannot be accredited?

• Applicants engaging in lobbying paid advertising, publicity or promotion work for any individual, political party, corporation, organisation or government agency cannot be accredited as media.
• Publishers of books and magazines and representatives of sales, advertising or marketing departments of publications ad broadcast outlets cannot be accredited as media.
• Industry representatives, in-house and industry newsletters, Websites, Blogs, and magazines and members of public relations firms and advertising agencies or representatives or corporate or university and hospital public relations/ advertising/ marketing departments cannot be accredited as media

1. An official letter on letterhead from your editor stating that you have been assigned to cover the conference
2. Business card
3. Press card. If you do not have a press card, it should be mentioned in the above letter.

3. Letter (NOC) from editor of any media house stating that you would be covering the conference for them.
