China has been known for its large smoker population as well as tobacco production. Many challenges have yet to overcome and require collaborative efforts from organizations worldwide. This meeting provides a networking opportunity for tobacco control professionals who are involved or interested in tobacco control projects in China.

This meeting is co-hosted by the Institute for Global Tobacco Control (IGTC) at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC). It will be held in conjunction with the 2009 World Conference on Tobacco or Health in Mumbai, India at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) on Tuesday, March 10, 2009, from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. Dinner will be served.

Community leaders, advocates, policymakers, researchers, and others in the field of tobacco control. You must be a registered participant for the 14th World Conference on Tobacco or Health (WCTOH).
