The 14th World Conference on Tobacco or Health is being held after 12 years in a developing country and in India for the first time. We are very keen to enable a large number of scholars from low income countries to attend and benefit from the various interactions with scientists, researchers, physicians, social workers, NGOs and other experts in tobacco control. To do so we are introducing a new program - Sponsor-a-Scholar.
To attend and also have an opportunity to present a paper at the conference many delegates have applied for a scholarship. The Conference is providing nearly 400 scholarships. But due to the overwhelming response to the conference it is not possible to provide a scholarship to all the deserving applicants.
A person or an organization interested in funding one or more deserving scholars through contributions to the cause can come forward and fund the attendance of such pre-selected scholars.

| What do you need to do |

- Provide us required information through the downloadable form below. And mail the duly filled form to Conference Secretariat
- Contributions will only be accepted from benefactors who are not linked to any tobacco or related industry.
- Contributions can be sent through a payable at par cheque or through bank transfer to Salaam Bombay Foundation Mumbai account. Bank details will be provided once the form has been accepted.
- Information will be made available about the sponsored delegate on request.
